MIAMI, FL. (Top40 Charts/ Univision Network) - A stellar collage of artists created a picture perfect night for young Hispanics everywhere during Univision's 6th Annual 'Premios Juventud' youth awards show, presented LIVE from the BankUnited Center at the University of Miami at 8 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central).

In a night of many firsts, superstars Marc Anthony and Ricardo Arjona provided two of the most memorable moments with their performances. Marc Anthony and La Quinta Estacio'n, who performed together for the first time ever, premiered their new single 'Recue'rdame' against the backdrop of a tornado. In another first on the 'Premios Juventud' stage was singer/songwriter Ricardo Arjona singing a medley of his hits 'Minutos,' 'El Problema,' and 'Como Duele.'

The show opened with an exciting number by Paulina Rubio performing her hit single 'Causa y Efecto,' with a group of dancers playing an elaborate life-sized game of chess. Immediately afterwards, the surprise celebrity DJ was revealed to be none other than pop star Pee Wee, mixing it up in an audio booth suspended high above the fan pit. Novela heartthrob Juan Soler, actress/singer Karyme Lozano and pop superstar Anahi', joined him as hosts and kept the crowd going all night.

Featuring the largest number of performances in its history, 'Premios Juventud' was a non-stop evening of outstanding musical numbers and surprises. Highlights included Luis Fonsi's premiere of his latest single 'Llueve Por Dentro' amidst the unexpected combination of live pyrotechnics and on-stage rainfall; Tito 'El Bambino's' blowout performance of 'El Amor;' Los Su'per Reyes' performance of 'Eres' along with surprise guest performer former Kumbia Kings member Frankie J; the colorful gypsy camp setting for the world premiere of Pee Wee's new single 'Cumbaya';' the 'Premios Juventud' debut performance of young artist Alexander Acha with 'Te Amo,' Germa'n Montero with 'Compre'ndeme,' and Da'Zoo with 'Chitu;' Makano singing 'Te Amo' to the object of his affection, Greidys Gil, Univision's Nuestra Belleza Latina 2009, which culminated in a romantic getaway in an actual cigarette boat navigating through a sea of fans; and the highly anticipated world premiere of Anahi''s new single 'Mi Delirio.'

Other performances included Alicia Villarreal with 'Caso Perdido,' Cristian Castro with 'El Culpable Soy Yo' and the premiere of his new single 'Por la Espalda;' Alexis y Fido with 'Ojos Que No Ven;' Alacranes Musical with 'Fue Su Amor;' and Shaila Du'rcal with the premiere of her new single 'Y Llegaste Tu'.'

With 28 unconventional categories, 'Premios Juventud' is the only awards show on Spanish-language television that celebrates the preferences of this country's Hispanic youth. Puerto Rican singer/songwriter Luis Fonsi broke all records as the night's biggest winner and became the artist with the most 'Premios Juventud' awards in the show's history, receiving 10 of the 13 awards he was nominated for, including 'Red Hot Artist,' 'Catchiest Tune,' 'CD to Die For' and 'The Perfect Combo,' among others. Other multiple winners include the kings of bachata Aventura ('My Favorite Concert' and 'Favorite Tropical Artist') and superstar reggaeton duo Wisin y Yandel ('My Ringtone' and 'My Favorite Urban Artist').
