LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Lou Battle Official Website) - Whatever happened to real music? Change happened. Gone are the days of the melodic tunes of Al Green, Nina Simone, and Marvin Gaye. Now a day the music industry has changed into a fast paced industry where the strong lyrics have been replaced by sound effects, catchy beats and lyrics that lack true meaning. Will those sounds from the past ever be brought back to mainstream music? Yes, by the harmonious sounds of Lou Battle.

This singer/songwriter, Lou Battle, grew up in Montgomery, Alabama with his two younger siblings. After high school, Battle was recruited as the star point guard at Albany State University, but left his hoop dreams in his last year to pursue what would become the love of his life, his music. During his senior year in college, Battle decided to sign an independent record deal in Atlanta, which landed him the 34th spot in the country on urban AC radio. But he later left the record label to pursue a career as a solo artist.

With his crafty writing and unique voice, he's sure to make an impact in the industry. He has performed with artist such as Marques Houston, Avant, David Banner, Jadakiss, and Nappy Roots, and is quickly getting noticed for his outstanding stage presence. His performance and songs seem to stay with you long after his performance is over. Lou's style of music is passionate, sensual, and heartfelt. He can perform and write any genre of music. He has written songs for Adina Howard, Trey Songz, as well as Carl Thomas.

The ultimate question is can Lou Battle bring that nostalgia of the past sounds to the present? Yes, Lou Battle creates the kind of music that engulfs your heart and soul. His music will warm your heart, put a smile on your face and make you reminisce about the past. His songs are filled with romance not lust, about having a good time not boasting of material gains, they speak of true, unconditional love. Lou's desire is for everyone to enjoy his timeless style of music. He wants his music to speak directly to you as if you are having a personal conversation with him. Lou Battle is ready to speak, are you ready to listen
