Heart of the Infidel. The international collective is back and stronger than ever with their unique sound - a fusion of the members' diverse cultures - and, as always, their powerful lyrics based on real-life experiences.
Everything from one member's cancer ordeal while touring, to lost loves, to industry bull shit - nothing is off-limits.
'Our last album was received with good reviews, and I have to admit that puts pressure on a band to push farther and explore new territories,' explains frontman Abe Froman. 'It was tough at times but I think we've achieved the goals and expectations that our fans, and that we ourselves, set. We're really proud of the result.'
Rocking out of the barracks, Special Ops have returned to the battlefront with their third album - 'Through the Heart of the Infidel.' The album produced by award winning producer/engineer/mixer Glen Robinson (Voivod, The Ramones, ACDC, Gwar, Queensryche, Nashville Pussy) captures the hearts and minds of those who have struggled in protest and demonstrates the trials and tribulations Special Ops have seen as a band.
