New Yorkers: Russell To Perform At Joe's Pub Oct 3
Tom Russell has plotted a 41-date U.S. tour this fall, commemorating 25
years as a recording artist. He will celebrate the release of his new opus
'Blood and Candle Smoke' (September 15 / Shout Factory!) with an appearance
on the Late Show with David Letterman (CBS) on October 1.
Though he made the move from New York to El Paso ten years ago, he will
revisit his old stomping grounds with a concert at Joe's Pub on October 3.
Eminent poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti has said, "Tom Russell is Johnny Cash,
Jim Harrison and Charles Bukowski rolled into one. I feel a great affinity
