NY (Reuters) - David Bowie will release two lost albums September 11th on Virgin Records. The first album, All Saints, is a rare collection of David Bowie's instrumentals from 1977 to 1999. It will be the material's second incarnation, however, as the music was initially compiled by Bowie in 1993 as a Christmas present for friends. Once a double CD aggressively sought after by fans, the collection will fit onto a single disc for its commercial release. In addition, it will feature new artwork by Bowie in lieu of that found on the original copies.

Aside from previously available cuts, including "Buddha of Suburbia" and "Brilliant Adventure" from 1999's Hours..., All Saints will offer three new tracks, titled "All Saints," "Abdulmajid," and "Crystal Japan."

The other release, Christiane F., was originally the soundtrack to the film Christiane F. Wir Kinder Vom Bahnhof Zoo. The record includes various highlights culled from Bowie's four albums released during 1976 to 1979. Though previously unreleased, the disc was frequently distributed on pirated records.
