Burbank, CA (Top40 Charts/ Chasen & Company) - The 'Clash of the Titans' Original Motion Picture Soundtrack has just been released digitally by WaterTower Music. The original score was written by Grammy and Emmy-nominated composer Ramin Djawadi ('Iron Man,' 'Prison Break').
'Clash of the Titans,' the highly anticipated heroic actioner from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, opens nationwide on April 2 and will be presented in RealD 3D where available.

For 'Clash of the Titans,' Djawadi created a powerful score that features an 80-piece orchestra, a choir of 40 vocalists, opera singers, as well as ethnic blown and plucked instruments. The score was recorded in London and features solo instruments, including the solo cello and the guitar viol, played by Djawadi. 'It was truly exciting to create the musical landscape for this epic film,' says Djawadi. 'It allowed the blending of traditional orchestra with modern musical elements in order to create a daring and thematic score that sonically accompanies Perseus' (Sam Worthington) exciting journey through ancient Greece,' added Djawadi.

The soundtrack contains 23 tracks, with two of those songs featuring Neil Davidge, Massive Attack's producer and collaborator: 'Be My Weapon,' which was written and produced by Davidge; and 'The Storm That Brought Me To You,' a song based on a musical cue in the film. It was co-written and produced by Davidge, and features vocals by Danish artist Tina Dico.

'It was a joy to work once again with Louis Leterrier, who is such an inspiring director with a vivid, lyrical imagination and whose vision led me to encapsulate the movie within the song 'The Storm That Brought Me To You,'' says Davidge.

Tina Dico offers, 'songwriting with Neil Davidge was a great opportunity to work with someone capable of producing such amazing soundscapes. His previous work with Massive Attack ensured that this piece of music would be of the highest quality.'

Ramin Djawadi is perhaps best known for his Grammy-nominated, guitar-driven score for 'Iron Man.' His film score repertoire covers a wide variety of genres, including the eclectic thriller 'Mr. Brooks' and the animated feature 'Open Season.' He has also achieved success composing music for TV, including an Emmy nomination for his main title theme music for the TV series 'Prison Break.'
