St. John's, NL, Canada (TOP40 Charts/ Artist Official website) -- Acclaimed singer/songwriter Matt Brouwer has received the JUNO Award for Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year from the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (CARAS) for his latest recording, Where's Our Revolution. Brouwer accepted the award Saturday at the 2010 JUNO Gala Dinner and Awards held at St. John's Convention Centre in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Other 2010 JUNO Award winners included Michael Buble, Kings of Leon and K'haan. The JUNO Award is considered Canada's equivalent of the GRAMMY Award.

Born in Truro, Nova Scotia, Brouwer attended Bible college in Alberta where he began his journey as a singer/songwriter/recording artist. In addition to the Juno Award, he has also received two GMA Canada Covenant Awards and two Vibe Awards (Canadian People's Choice).

Where's Our Revolution, Brouwer's third studio recording, was produced by GRAMMY Award winner Michael Omartian. Re-released in August as a Deluxe Edition by Indie Extreme/Universal Music Christian Group, the project features 12 new songs written or co-written by Brouwer, including the recent Top 20 hit, "Sometimes."
