NY (Top40 Charts) - Not much is new in the details that Virgin has released about the upcoming Smashing Pumpkins Greatest Hits album and limited edition two-CD set that will include the greatest hits album and a collection of B-sides and rarities.

The only new tidbit is that the B-sides album now has a name: Judas O Riley. Judas O Riley is deemed the follow-up to the band's 1994 rarities collection, Pisces Iscariot. In addition, the artwork for the Greatest Hits comp will feature never-before-seen photos of the band.

As previously reported, a DVD will also be released to coincide with the Greatest Hits album, which will include the Smashing Pumpkins' music videos and a documentary on the making of the clips. The release date had previously been confirmed as Nov. 6, but Virgin now just says it is expected this fall.

Aside from playing guitar with New Order on Moby's Area: One tour, singer Billy Corgan has also been hard at work rehearsing and recording with his new band. Details to come shortly.
