New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ YellowHammers Official Website) - Chicago roots-rock group YellowHammers will be bringing their live show to Minneapolis on Saturday, July 24th. Playing at Memory Lanes, the band is excited to make the Twin Cities their second home. 'We plan on touring through the area every couple of months,' said guitar player and vocalist Terry White. As a precursor to the show, YellowHammers will be performing on KARE 11's Showcase Minnesota on July 23rd. With a new self-titled record that was produced by music legend Jon Langford (The Mekons, Waco Brothers), YellowHammers have been referred to as 'Americana at its finest.' The seasoned musicians have honed their sound with over a decade of songwriting, and show no signs of slowing down. 'Every time we put out a new album, it gives us more momentum,' said White. Having shared the stage and studio with artists ranging from Joe Walsh and Billy Preston to Jane's Addiction and Smashing Pumpkins, YellowHammers currently perform throughout the Midwest. They plan to tour extensively in support of their new self-titled release, which falls on the heels of three previous records. For more on YellowHammers, visit www.yellowhammers.com.
