When I heard his instrumental tracks I instantly thought of lyrics for them. It was like a musical match made in heaven,' said the talented singer. The pair also collaborated on 'So Alive,' which the album was titled after. Xiomara's confidence is reflected on the track 'This Game Is Mine,' a cool song about 'winning in the game' featuring co-producer Al Blass as a rapper and Tom Russo on trumpet. Xiomara reveals a more sultry voice in the songs 'Be Wise' and 'Addicted 2 ur Loving,' capturing an R&B essence. Other songs like 'Nananah' and 'Misunderstood' display live band elements and feel.
