New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ RoadRunner Records) - The July 2010 issue of Rock Sound finds the British music mag inducting Slipknot's self-titled debut album into their Hall Of Fame "as a mark of respect to the irreplaceable Paul Gray," cites the publication.
As a testament to Slipknot's far-reaching influence, Rock Sound got Bring Me the Horizon vocalist Oli Sykes to put the album in context. Sykes tells the magazine, ''Slipknot' is the record that got so many people into metal. When I first got into rock music that was one of the first records I bought and I couldn't believe how heavy it all was. It's got to be one of the best heavy albums of all time surely, it's just got all your favourites on there!'

To read the full story on the album, pick up a copy of Issue 137, in stores now.

Slipknot's self-titled debut was released in 1999 and features standout tracks "Wait and Bleed," "Spit it Out" and "Surfacing." Having just celebrated the landmark album's 10th anniversary last year, fans can pick up a 10th Anniversary Edition Box Set!
