New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ RoadRunner Records) - Soulfly have announced that they have parted ways with bassist Bobby Burns. The split was completely amicable and there was no animosity on either side. Johny Chow, who played with Soulfly's Max Cavalera in Cavalera Conspiracy and is a member of Fireball Ministry, will be loaning his skills to upcoming Soulfly tours for the immediate future until the position is filled. Fans will be able to check out this rare, 'limited edition' lineup at Sonisphere UK, and Wacken in Germany this August. Soulfly's seventh album, Omen, is in stores now. While currently on tour and hitting the summer festival circuit in Europe, the band will return to the US to tour in the imminent future. Of the band's latest album Omen, Alternative Press has said 'longtime fans of Cavalera's brand of primitive crunch will love Omen...' while Revolver contends Omen is 'harder, angrier and catchier than its predecessors.'
