The Michael Bolton Charities, Inc. Presents: The Inaugural Michael Bolton And Dave Mason Benefit Concert & Golf Classic

Westport, CT (Top40 Charts/ Michael Bolton Charities, Inc.) - Two-time Grammy Award-Winning Artist, Michael Bolton, will join with legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, Dave Mason for the inaugural benefit concert/golf classic to be held in Ojai, California on September 26th, 2010. Michael and celebrity friends, Paul Williams, John O'Hurley, Jeffrey Donovan, Matt McCoy, Richard Roundtree, Kevin Sorbo and others will tee off at 9:00 a.m. at the historic Ojai Valley Country Club. Callaway Golf serves as the Golf Sponsor.

Later that day, the VIP reception, silent auction will begin at 6:00 p.m. followed by a live auction and performances by Michael and his band, Dave Mason, Kenny G, and other surprise musical guests. Joan Lunden will serve as Mistress of Ceremonies and comedians Tom Dreesen and Jackie Flynn will also perform. The Michael Bolton Charities Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Lisa Niemi Swayze.

Proceeds from the event will benefit The Michael Bolton Charities, Inc., which was established in 1993 to assist children and women at risk, by supporting such programs as: The National Domestic Violence Hotline, Prevent Child Abuse America, Yale Child Study Center, Family Justice Center of Brooklyn, NY and United Negro College Fund.

A portion of the proceeds will also benefit: Yoga Blue, Inc. and The Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Program at Children's Hospital, LA.
