New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - The Commission of the African Union (AU) has named Angelique Kidjo a Peace Ambassador. Kidjo, whose 'OYO' album is out now from Razor Tie, will support the Commission in its 2010 Year of Peace and Security in Africa campaign and on the International Day of Peace September 21st, also known as Peace Day.

Joining Kidjo as AU Peace Ambassadors are 25 other prominent Africans, including Manu Dibango, Youssou N'Dour and Salif Keita.
