LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Echoes Fall Official Website) - Echoes Fall, a five-piece unsigned metal band from Ipswich, played their most significant set yet at the 10th anniversary of the biggest heavy metal festival in the UK; Bloodstock Open Air. The festival took place at Catton Hall, Derbyshire from Friday 13th - Sunday 15th August 2010. Echoes Fall feature lead vocalist Jamie Bennett, lead guitarist and backing vocals Sebastian Cowie, guitarist Dex Jezierski, bassist and backing vocals Stu Bridges and the drummer Gavin Chinery.

Echoes Fall had a 30-minute set on the New Blood stage from 11:15-11:45am on Saturday morning and whipped up a fury of excitement and crowd participation right from the start. Frontman Jamie Bennett and the crew injected a dose of speed, aggression and intensity that would cure any festival hangover. Featuring new song 'Belmont's Curse' and current tracks 'Ignite the Fury' and 'The Wraith' from their latest demo EP Ignite the Fury; Echoes Fall produced an unforgettable show of metallic madness, copious head banging, the infamous 'wall of death' and a massive circle pit.

Lead singer Jamie Bennett said: 'To have 300 people on a Saturday morning with a wall of death and circle pit is simply amazing.' Lead guitarist Sebastian Cowie added: 'We've worked so hard to get to where we are today and I think it's paid off.' Echoes Fall formed in late 2008 and have already released an impressive demo EP. They've also shared the stage with high profile bands including Criminal, Forever Never and Fei Comodo. These warriors are young, hungry for success and determined to make a real impact in today's underground metal music industry.

Echoes Fall won the right to play at this year's Bloodstock Open Air festival after competing in Band Quest 2010 and ultimately became champions. The band beat over 200 of Essex's best metal bands and this victory secured their place in the national 'Metal 2 The Masses' competition and a slot at Bloodstock. Echoes Fall now have the opportunity of winning a main stage slot at Bloodstock 2011 and Wacken festival 2011.

Echoes Fall are currently writing their debut album for release next spring with a headlining show confirmed this year on Sunday 26 September at The Red Lion in Gravesend, Kent with further dates across the UK at Ipswich in October, Cambridge in November and Andover in December.
