Barrie, ON (Top40 Charts/ Kempenfelt Rotary Club) - The Kempenfelt Rotary Club is pleased to announce the musical line up for the 1st Annual Great Canadian Beaver Race and Festival taking place Friday September 24th and Saturday, September 25th, 2010 at Heritage Park in Barrie.

Friday, September 24th

* Concert under the big tent at Heritage Park in Downtown Barrie with Canadian Rockers Default and Special guest Crash Karma and Infract
* Gates open 5pm show time 6:30pm
* Rain or shine the entire concert is under the tent

Saturday, September 25th

* Concert under the big tent: Pure Canadian Jam featuring David Wilcox , Northern Pikes, Altantis Blue Print and more
* Gates open 4pm show starts 6pm

'This is a new event for Barrie and we are excited by the positive reaction we have received from the community,' said Krista LaRiviere, Kempenfelt Rotarian and one of the visionaries and planners of the Beaver Festival. 'The concert events will be important in helping us reach our goal of raising more than $100,000 for local Barrie charities.'

All proceeds from the Beaver Festival will support the following charities: Hospice Simcoe, Gilda's Club Barrie, Special Olympics Barrie, Women and Children Crisis Center, Simcoe Community Services, New Path Foundation and more.
