Phoenix, AZ (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Scala & Kolacny Brothers, the 60-woman Belgian choir led by Steven and Stijn Kolacny, got their first taste of success in the US when their version of Radiohead's "Creep" was selected as the trailer music for "The Social Network." It was one of the first times Radiohead has ever agreed to a sync license in America, and this week the song is now available at all digital service providers for purchase.

In the last few months, Scala & Kolacny Brothers have gained notice for their combination of pure harmonies and the stark, unusually voiced chords of a single piano, giving the impression of a gang of angels who might fall at any moment. Here's what we've been hearing:

"Indie covers by 60 Belgian girls never sounded so good."
-USA Today

"Mounts a sweet songbird attack."
- LA Times

"Takes mournfulness to a whole new level."
- AOL Spinner

"Take[s] show choir to its logical, foundation-shaking conclusion."
- My Old Kentucky Blog

"Imagine dozens of young girls wrapping their voices around tunes by Metallica, Kings of Leon, Peter Gabriel and Nirvana. Well, you've just imagined the new Scala & Kolacny Brothers record 'Circle.'"
-Prefix

"Perform imaginatively reworked covers of a variety of indie rock songs, as well as their beautiful original compositions."
-MTV.com

Now Scala & Kolacny Brothers are preparing to bring their "sweet songbird attack" (LA Times) to the US. As they ready their US debut for ATCO Records, the group, who already have four gold albums in Belgium and tour Europe relentlessly, playing over 200 dates a year, will play in Russia, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden and Germany in 2010, and have extensive dates lined up for early 2011. Live the group can range from 15-60 members.
