Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ Jazzmyne Public Relation) - California Proposition 19, the Marijuana Legalization Initiative may have been defeated, but the revelry will continue anyway when reggae giant Junior Reid, hip hop pioneers Kurupt, Rodney O and Joe Cooley and underground sensation, The Elevators, join a gathering of musical acts to pay homage to and entertain California's medical marijuana growers at this year's Doesha Cup 2010 on Saturday, December 4, 2010! Presented by Dr. Ingleweed, the proprietor of the South Bay area based medical marijuana cooperative, the All American Health & Healing Cooperative, the Doesha Cup is an annual invitation only, exclusive affair celebrating its fifth year.

Celebrity judges, high profile anti-prohibition activists and guests will gather to commemorate and evaluate a competition of some of California's finest medical cannabis. A unique experience for valid Proposition 215 patients and caregivers, live performances, vendor booths, food, beverages and music highlight the gathering.

Musical blends will smoke the evening with a roster of talent mixing reggae, dancehall and hip hop. Junior Reid brings his incisive, prophetic lyrics and unstinting support for the cause as he remains a roots artist of great power. As the former executive vice president of Death Row Records, performer Kurupt is a member of the rap group Tha Dogg Pound and a solid fixture on the west coast music scene. True west coast hip hop pioneers, Rodney O and Joe Cooley laid the foundation for west coast rap with hits like "Everlasting Bass" and "This is for the Homies." A host of local indie rap and reggae talent will also perform, including underground staple, The Elevators, an emerging leading voice of the new urban music movement.

Dr. Ingleweed has owned and operated All American Healing located at 126 1/2 S. Market Street in Inglewood, CA since 2005. A pioneer organic green grower, and one of the original founders of the "Food for the Hood" program, he began growing cannabis in 1994 while attending college. His famed Doesha Cup events paved the way for celebratory events in the medical marijuana community at the onset of the legalization movement in Los Angeles. With the progress made over the past several years in the legalization movement, Dr. Ingleweed's Doesha Cup has become a longtime favorite in the medical marijuana community.

At Doesha Cup 2010, participating judges and guests sample 15 to 20 strands of medication. Once ballots are tabulated the final three Doesha Cup winners are crowned. Along with the prestigious Doesha Cup for the first place winner, and plaques for the second and third place winners, additional cash and prizes are awarded.

Past events have included performances by Redman, Alex Thomas, Michael Colyar and Rodney Perry. Celebrity attendees have included Mike Tyson, Ananda Lewis, Coolio, Bob Denver, Chyna , X-Pac and B-Real.

This year's sponsors for Doesha Cup 2010 include The Liberty Bell Temple (https://www.libertybelltemple.com/), Culture Magazine ( https://freeculturemag.com/), Cloudz Magazine, Canna Fresh, (https://cannafresh.com/) Compassionate Cannabis Care and Holistic Gourmet Edibles .

The event begins at 3:00 p.m. and ends at 2:00 a.m.. Proposition 215 patients and caregivers can purchase tickets and secure more event details at https://www.doeshacup.com.
