Oakland, CA (Top40 Charts/ Jake Records) - Jake Records, a leading independent record label, today announced the release date for the upcoming debut album release from Bay Area Hip Hop recording artist BINC. The album, entitled "200X" is the first solo project for the former Digital Underground member. The album features guest vocals from well-known Bay Area talent including Shock G and Money-B from Digital Underground, as well as Lee Majors. The project also introduces BINCRU members JPark and Melly Mel. The album will be available via digital download outlets such as iTunes, Amazon.com MP3, eMusic and more, plus physical unit distribution through Best Buy, and other retailers.

BINC emerges from the rough-and-tumble streets of East Oakland, California. His rough childhood and upbringing helped shape him into the person and artist he's become. From living in a church with his father while going to high school, or playing hundreds of games of chess with convicted felons to pass time, every experience in his life has been the foundation for which he's brought his craft to the table. BINC grew up as the Bay Area music scene was bursting with talent in the late 1990s, and early 2000s, and was casually introduced to some of the biggest names in the business. But his interest in becoming a part of it didn't develop until a chance meeting with Money-B, one of the original members of the multi-platinum legends Digital Underground. BINC began touring with Digital as a roadie, and eventually gained access to the stage. Along the way, he's spent time with the likes of The Luniz, Coolio, Young MC, Tone Loc, B Legit, and dozens of others. His debut album showcases his talent, and his ability to rise above everything to life has to offer and come out on top. The album

The project releases January 18th, 2011 worldwide. The album will be available digitally worldwide via iTunes, Rhapsody, eMusic.com, and dozens of other outlets, and physically via select Bay Area record stores, as well as Amazon.com, CDBaby.com and more.
