Tron: Legacy Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Composed By Daft Punk Debuts In The Top 10 On The Billboard 200 Chart

Burbank, CA (Top40 Charts/ Walt Disney Records) - The original motion picture score for TRON: Legacy, composed and produced by the iconic and critically acclaimed Grammy Award-winning French duo Daft Punk, debuts on the Billboard 200 at No. 10, scanning over 70,000 units in its first week of release (according to Nielsen SoundScan). It is the first score soundtrack to debut in the Top 10 in five years ("Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith" in 2005). The soundtrack was released by Walt Disney Records on December 7, 2010. Walt Disney Pictures' "TRON: Legacy" hits U.S. theaters on December 17, 2010, in Disney Digital 3D(TM), Real D 3D and IMAX 3D.

The TRON: Legacy soundtrack marks Daft Punk's best sales week and is their highest-charting album ever. The duo's previous best week was 2001's Discovery, which debuted at No. 44, with 34,000 units.

The TRON: Legacy soundtrack features 22 score cues and was recorded with an 85-piece orchestra at AIR Lyndhurst Studios,Britain's premier scoring facility.
