New Progressive Rock Jester's Promenade

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Jester's Promenade Official Website) - JESTER'S PROMENADE is Joel Pirard , (The JDA Project, Seven Sources, ex-Avalon USA, ex-Orion), John Curtin, (ex-Avalon USA,ex-Orion,Bruce Henninger,(ex- Avalon USA),CJ Truitt,(ex-Orion).Joel Pirard and John Curtin (both formerly of AVALON USA and Orion) have launched a new musical project, as yet untitled. This is the first collaboration of new music involving these to musicians in more than a decade.

The new project has been christened JESTER"S PROMENADE, from a lyric found in Kansas's song "The Pinnacle".

"we felt that we wanted the name to reflect the type of music we are writing, and this reference is at once a direct and indirect way of doing that". Both John Curtin and Joel Pirard are quick to point out , however that this is not a Kansas-soundalike, or even intended as such. Rather, the overall sound will likely be a melting pot of progressive rock influences, with the intent, of course on an original style. Joel and John have an extensive collective past, having played together on and off for more than 30 years. Much has happened over the last few months.
Originally conceived as a project with revolving players, the lineup ( so far ) has solidified to include CJ Truitt is THE SINGER. Bruce Henninger is the official drummer.

Jester's Promenade is now officially Joel Pirard, John Curtin, Bruce Henninger, and CJ Truitt. The studio recording of the epic song, 'THE ARCHWAY' is almost completed. 'Nexus' is the next one; to date there are 4 definitive songs arranged, 2 other 'epics' in the beginning stages. ' Jester' is an unabashedly PROGRESSIVE ROCK band. We are excited!

The band is taking their time, working out the details and arrangements meticulously, because first impressions will define how twe are viewed once we put it out there.

A summer 2011 release is currently anticipated.
