Singer/songwriter Griffin Anthony Released Holiday Single On December 15, 2010

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ griffinanthony.com) - With the onset of winter less than a week away, Griffin Anthony's 'ode to the season' hit iTunes Wednesday, December 15, 2010.
Recorded at producer, Luke Moellman's studio in Brooklyn, NY, this rendition of the 1934 Bernard/Smith classic showcases a more modern vibe with the bluesy undertones Griffin's music is known for. The melody is noticeably more soul-inspired than the traditional version, bridging the gap between old and new.

With the use of acoustic guitar, double-track vocals and unconventional percussion (as seen in the rudimentary video on his official site), Griffin follows a pop sensibility to instrumentation while maintaining the spirit of the original song.

Winter Wonderland succeeds Griffin's 2nd album (Crazy Ways) released earlier this year, which continues to be well received worldwide. Looking ahead to the New Year, he's already back in the studio writing and recording for his forthcoming 3rd album, due out summer 2011.
