NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - 50 Cent's Get Rich or Die Tryin' was the top-selling album in the US last year, followed by Norah Jones' Grammy-winning debut, Come Away With Me.
Get Rich or Die Tryin' sold 6.5 million copies and the jazzy Come Away With Me, which won the Grammy for album of the year, sold more than five million. CD album sales fell 2 per cent from the previous year.
The third best-selling album was Meteora by Linkin Park, followed by Evanescence's Fallen and Speakerboxxx/The Love Below by OutKast.
