NEW YORK (Ja Rule Fan Website) - Ja Rule is putting his money where his mouth is. After a very public sit down with Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan last year, Ja is turning a new leaf. The New York rapper is helping form L.I.F.E. (Love Ignites Freedom and Education), a non-profit organization aimed at correcting troubled youth's behaviour. A celebration in Jamaica Queens, NY on January 15 will officially launch the organization. Ja Rule along with Ashanti and Lil' Jon will perform.

Profits from the concert will go to sending as many as 150 of the most improved troubled teens to Puerto Rico for a 10-day camp. L.I.F.E. also hopes to open a school in Jamaica Queens by 2005.
