LOS ANGELES (NBA announcement/Beyonce Fans Website) - Beyonce will be hitting centre court to perform during the halftime show at the 2004 NBA All-Star game in LA on February 15th.

Other performers scheduled to take part in the NBA event include Outkast, Christina Aguilera and Nelly Furtado. Beyonce has also been selected to sing the U.S. anthem before the Super Bowl. Beyonce, Jay-Z, P. Diddy and Snoop are among the many celebrities planning to be in Houston for the Superbowl this weekend.

The city's liquor stores are reportedly experiencing a shortage of the trendy Cristal brand of champagne. The singer recently signed a deal to endorse a new line of fragrances by Tommy Hilfiger. She'll be doing the usual TV and print ads, and rumour has it that she'll be writing a song for the perfume that will be featured in commercials.
