Quiet Lights Releases 'break Trouble Wait' Video, New Nyc Shows Announced!
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Girlie Action Media & Marketing) Quiet Lights No More Canyons 7" (February 15, 2011; Eastern Seaboard/Old Flame Records)

"Break Trouble Wait" Video

Premiered On A Heart Is A Spade!

Catch Them Live in NYC!

"If the sounds of Sigur Ros and MGMT were to softly collide, you'd have the ethereal waves of Quiet Lights."
- NYLON

"ambient indie-rock"
- Alternative Press

"... the kind of thing for anyone who was brought up on a healthy dose of Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine and Come"
- RCRD LBL

"... a little bit shoegaze, and a little bit of the soaring orchestral swoop of Sigur Ros, plus some of that latent kinetic energy in the Stars' best songs."
- Flavorpill

Formed in Brooklyn in 2009 through a shared love of finding beauty in layers and textures, Quiet Lights is making music where themes drift in and out like phantoms of sound. The band's new 7" features cover art by Maxi Schramm (Porcelain Raft) and the track "No More Canyons" with b-side "Break Trouble Wait." The single was released digitally and on vinyl, February 15 on Eastern Seaboard/Old Flame Records.

Director Maxi Schramm (Porcelain Raft's 'Tip Of Your Tongue' and 'Dragonfly') puts a reflective spin on Quiet Light's b-side, "Break Trouble Wait" with their new video. The song is in 2 parts, the first sways with a feeling that's both driving and meditative. The second more hypnotic and assertive as if part of an incantation. Check out the video where it premiered on A Heart Is A Spade or HERE. Feel free to post and share.
