NEW YORK (David Bowie Official Website) - Due to overwhelming demand, David Bowie has announced that he will be adding a second leg to his sold-out and critically acclaimed "A Reality Tour." The tour has now been extended in with and additional 29 additional being added across North America at a variety of theatres, arenas and amphitheatres.

The current leg of U.S./Canadian tour will be wrapping up on Saturday February 7 in Los Angeles. Following this show, Bowie will jet to Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong before returning to the U.S. on Monday March 29 to begin his second trek across North America. This portion of the tour will conclude more than two months later at two New York area shows on Friday June 4 and Saturday June 5. Never one to rest long, Bowie will then revisit Europe and the U.K. for select festival dates, including a headlining appearance at the Isle of Wight festival on Saturday June 13.

For the second leg of his "A Reality Tour", Bowie has chosen two diverse opening acts. The Polyphonic Spree will be support him throughout the first half of the tour (from Monday March 29 until Friday April 30). The Stereophonics will open the shows running from Thursday May 6 through Thursday May 27. A special, as yet to be announced guest, will be open the shows from Saturday May 29 through Saturday June 5.
