Introducing: The Gift - Check Out Their Video Feat. Lukas Haas

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Girlie Action Media & Marketing) Portuguese band The Gift may be a new to some, but many already know the psychedelic synth-pop group. The band has been together since 1994, and they toured the U.S. with The Flaming Lips in 2003. This year they return to the United States, bringing us their amazing new album, Explode, which was produced by Ken Nelson!

To celebrate, the band is releasing a free MP3 of "Made For You," a song that quietly popped up on the internet last week, and was created by their actor friends Lukas Haas and Isabel Lucas. Also check out "The Making Of..." video that the band shot in L.A. while working on the album!

The band, one of the biggest in Portugal (and Europe!), is incredibly DIY, considering that they're one of the top-selling artists in their native country. They manage themselves, finance their own recordings, and produce some of the most visually-stunning live shows around. They even took home an MTV Europe award in 2005 for Best Portuguese Act!
