Tune In: Scala & Kolacny Brothers On NPR Morning Edition Thursday, 3.31

New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Tomorrow, NPR's flagship show Morning Edition will feature an interview with Steven and Stijn Kolacny, the pianist/composer and conductor in front of the all-female Belgian rock choir Scala & Kolacny Brothers. The prodigious duo, along with one of the choir's singers, will be discussing their "brilliantly haunting" (EW) takes on songs by the likes of U2, Nirvana, Depeche Mode and Metallica, as well as their own original compositions. The feature is set to air at 6:50 a.m EST.

Scala & Kolacny Brothers, who just released their self-titled debut album on ATCO, were also recently featured on the nationally syndicated WBUR (NPR Boston), featuring an interview with Steven and Stijn as well as samples of their "sweet songbird attack" (LA Times) that is simultaneously transcendental, ominous and heartwarming.

Fresh off a trip to SXSW where they were named one of the "Top 100 Acts" by AOL Spinner, the group is set to embark on a US tour that includes an April 14 performance of "Creep" (heard by over 250 million worldwide in 'The Social Network' trailer) on 'Conan' and a nighttime slot at Coachella on April 15.
