Scott is back with her 2011 North American Tour, the Jill Scott Summer Block Party presented by Budweiser Superfest beginning July 28th.

Last seen performing on the sold out co-headline arena tour with fellow R&B crooner Maxwell, Scott will be performing favorites off her new album such as "So In Love" and "Shame" amidst classics such as "Is It The Way" and "He Loves Me (Lyzel In E Flat)." The Multi-platinum winning singer/actress, whose eagerly awaited fourth studio album The Light Of The Sun has made TIME Magazine's Summer 2011 Highlights and USA TODAY's Playlist, will be joined by special guests, Grammy nominated R&B singer Anthony Hamilton and groove specialists Mint Condition with music provided by DJ Jazzy Jeff and hosted by party starter Doug E. Fresh.

Scott's Summer Block Party, produced by Live Nation/ Haymon Ventures, will make stops at amphitheaters around the country beginning July 28th through August 28th. For the first time, in the spirit of entrepreneurship and business, Scott will be giving fans a special opportunity to purchase concert tickets and pre-order the album in one special transaction on sale June 17th at LIVENATION.COM and through her official website MISSJILLSCOTT.COM. After the album is released June 21st, tickets will be available through Ticketmaster.com.
