On August 1, 2011 the "BORN TO SING" talent contest launched both in the US and Asia. HITMAN, David Foster ,who is responsible for the discovery and launch of some of the biggest careers in the music world, including Charice, Michael Buble, Josh Groban, Celine Dion, and behind No 1 hits with artists such as Barbra Streisand, Earth Wind & Fire, Jackie Evancho, Chicago, Donna Summer, Babyface, Andrea Bocelli, Seal, Chaka Khan, Natalie Cole, and scores of others, is currently on the hunt for his next musical protege. With an innate knack, and a long history of discovering some of the biggest names in the music industry, David Foster is the perfect HITMAN to execute this global search. Submissions are currently being accepted now through October 1, 2011. Two quarter-finalists will be selected to perform at each of Foster's famous and star-studded upcoming Las Vegas shows. The contestants will battle it out live on stage to then appear on a final showdown with three semi-finalists, which will also take place in the successful Vegas shows at Mandalay Bay. The ultimate winner will be asked to join the Las Vegas cast of stars and potentially have David Foster produce them, and appear in his immensely successful PBS Special, "David Foster and Friends." At the same time of launching the competition is the US, David Foster, the ultimate HITMAN takes his search across the world to Asia. Selected contestants will battle it out live on stage and compete on David's Foster and Friends 2011 Asia tour. The winner of "Born To Sing Asia" will be brought to Vegas to perform at the famous and star studded cast of the "David Foster and Friends" immensely successful show at Mandalay Bay. The successful "Foster & Friends" HITMAN show will return to Las Vegas for a series of shows at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Saturday, October 1; Thanksgiving Weekend, Friday, November 25 and Thursday, December 29, 2011. Foster's previous shows have featured performances by Michael Buble, Charice, Celine Dion, Earth Wind & Fire, Jackie Evancho to name but a few.
