NEW YORK (Ranluron Music announcement) - Blues in Australia. During a recent tour of Oz, I met and networked with many artists. I was pleased and surprised at the variety and quality of Blues music coming out of the 'Land Down Under'.

Henry Correy & The Correydors are one of those World Class Groups that ply their craft at the many festivals and clubs. Their CD
"Heat Of The Moment" features 15 tracks covering many sub-genres of the Blues, including New Orleans Swing, Texas Rock, Chicago Shuffle, and Roots Blues.

Henry Correy is a bassist, vocalist and songwriter. He has assembled a first quality group with "Smokin' George Babich on Guitar, Peter Clarke on Drums, and Allan Vander Linden on Guitar. Special guests include Stefan Sernek on Accordion and the Blues Oz Choir on backing vocals.

What makes this CD so incredible is that it was recorded LIVE in the studio before an invited audience. You won't hear any slick overdubs or studio tricks and the crowd reaction is real.
The musicianship is solid, Henry's slightly gravelly-voiced vocals are strong, and the rhythm section cooks. The mixing is excellent and captures the raw, powerful sounds you can only get by playing "Live". The songs cover the gamut of human experiences and the shuffles and swings and rhumbas make me want to get up and dance.
