SANTA MONICA, CA (Eminem Fans Website) - MTV plans to cut a shot of Eminem exposing his rear end to the audience at the 2004 Movie Awards when the show is broadcast on Thursday evening, the network confirmed tonight.

Among this year's highlights' Eminem mooning the crowd. D12 took the stage, parodying a rock band. The audience roared their appreciation as Eminem appeared as Guns n' Roses singer Axl Rose. (Also, in a nod to the movie "Kill Bill," D12's Bizarre dressed up as Uma Thurman's character in the film!)
He repeatedly groped and flashed a studded codpiece in front of the cameras and the thousands of people in the live audience. Towards the end of the performance, he pulled down his trousers and flashed his bare backside at the audience.

Representatives for MTV, which was slammed for producing Janet Jackson's Super Bowl halftime performance in which she exposed her breast, immediately said Eminem's act would be sanitised for broadcast, possibly by blurring out his backside.
Ultimately, the producers chose to edit out his rear altogether, the network said. To see for yourself, tune into the 2004 MTV Movie Awards this Thursday, June 10, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
