Old School And Modern Hip Hop Fusion From 7even's Hip Hop Album Release
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ JMD Distribution) Pain is a teacher. Pain makes you stronger. Pain turns you into a star.

From hip-hop and rap artist 7Even's painful past, he came out a survivor. With his built-up confidence, he courageously enters the ring of hip-hop. And 7Even's music invasion has begun.

Raised in Dallas, Texas, 7Even started expressing himself through music, thanks to the magical influence of hip-hop. There, he experienced a rough upbringing but this didn't stop him from making a name for himself. 7Even cites groups Outkast, UGK to Public Enemy to rap maestros Tupac Shakur, Scaface, Nas, Notorious B.I.G., KRS One, E-40 to Jay-Z as his stalwart influences. For 7Even, the bigger the influence, the more he studied them. From being an ordinary mimic, he became his own MC with a vision and a voice.

In 1993, 7Even officially began his music career as a new artist with the group SAP. His moniker became 007 - he became the James Bond of the ghetto. It stuck and now he wears it like a badge.

With the release of his latest project 'The Uprise of 7Even', it tells the story of a man's rise from his humble beginnings and then reaching the summit of fame and fortune. It's a revealing record with no gimmicks and no fiction. 'I think it's important to show the listeners your true self. As for me, I have always been a character and everyone that knows me knows that. I can turn any situation into a good one', 7Even says.

If 7Even's music has no trace of embellishment, his swag totally flourishes. Listen to his track 'Hey Girl', the lead off of his CD and you get a catchy hip-hop-rap track set in Miami Beach while 7Even woos the women off their stilettos. Upbeat, sexy with a cool mix of singing and rapping, 'Hey Girl' has a hot rhythm and outstanding vocals to boot. That's just a primer - imagine what 7Even has in store.

7Even will continuously evolve. He considers Michael Jackson as his career template: to help him stay on track, be focused, and stay driven. He creates one song but can produce three more variations out of it, catering to different audiences. He keeps it old school but fuses new technology with his music. A consummate professional and a force to be reckoned with, 7Even is always testing himself and pushing his own boundaries in production, editing, mixing, and recording - ultimately, securing his place in hip hop history.

Have a piece of music history. Download 7Even's CD 'The Uprise of 7Even' at iTunes, distributed by JMD Records and INgrooves, a partner of Universal Music Group.
