Screaming Soul Ghost Inna Dub Scheduled For Release February 2012
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Screaming Soul Official Website) 'Ghost Inna Dub' is the sequel to Screaming Soul's debut album 'Ghost in a Shell', which was released earlier this year on Emerging Species and is rapidly becoming an underground cult classic. 'Ghost Inna Dub' features Dub remixes by genre pioneer Adrian Sherwood of On-U Sound and his protege Nick 'Mutant Hi-Fi' Coplowe of Prince Fatty, two legends in their own rights who have brought a completely new twist to the group's music.

Though some critics may draw comparisons to Massive Attack & Mad Professor's 'No Protection' or Roots Manuva's 'Dub Come Save Me', the fact is 'Ghost Inna Dub' is completely in a league of it's own. Screaming Soul producer Lucid Mover has managed to seamlessly blend the album's new songs with the two Dub producers quite differing styles.

Sherwood's mixes were both recorded as live single-takes at On-U Sound studio in the traditional King Tubby style, but Coplowe chose to take a radically different approach at his Ironworks studio, completely changing the songs from their original format.

Both producers used a variety of vintage outboard equipment but Coplowe's mixes have the added warmth and authenticity that can only come from analogue tape. This was used to great effect on 'IllumiNatty (150 Watts Dub Mix Parts 1 & 2)' where he played the tape at half speed and added a new bassline, bringing out all the subtle elements of Lucid Mover's original production.

With the release of 'Ghost Inna Dub', Screaming Soul have truly cemented their place at the cutting edge of the UK underground scene, demonstrating that they are a musical force to be reckoned with.
