NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) Beyonce has moved to deny rumours that her pregnancy is a fake. The RnB singer has been subject to rumours suggesting that her baby with Jay-Z has been fabricated and that she had been wearing a fake baby bump.
Speaking to ABC's 20/20, she moved to dismiss those rumours, stating that the speculation isn't affecting her.
She said about fake pregnancy rumors: "You know, there are certain things that are so far, it doesn't even effect me," she told Couric. "I'm cool. It doesn't bother me."
She added for her overprotective family: "My mom is like, 'Nobody's talking about my grandbaby! My grandbaby's not ever here yet!" I was like, 'Calm down, mom! It's okay!' My mom and sister are so protective."
Beyonce also told about pregnancy cravings: "I read that I like ketchup on everything...not true," she said. "I was on a plane and the flight attendant came and was like, 'I have your hot sauce and pickles and bananas.' I'm like, 'That is disgusting! What are you doing?' And he's like, 'I read it on the Internet.'"
On the baby's sex: "I don't care. I just want--I'm just like everyone else. And now I know why people say that, it's true. I just want [a healthy baby]," she said. "I know it's going to be difficult at times and I know that, like my mother, I'm going to get on my child's nerves, but it's all out of love and I'm just ready. I'm ready for the next chapter," she said.
