LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - One date for this year's Family Values tour has been announced, October 19 in Columbus, Ohio, according to Pollstar. This year's tour features Staind, Stone Temple Pilots, Static X, Linkin Park, and Deadsy. No other dates have been announced, and there's no word as to whether the date at the Schottenstein Center is the tour opener. The management company who runs the tour told they haven't locked everything down, but an official announcement should be made early next week. Reuters asked Linkin Park guitarist Brad Delson to compare Family Values with the OzzFest tour dates the band just completed. "The OzzFest is more of a metal tour, and Family Values this year is more of a rock tour, being that we're playing with Staind and Stone Temple Pilots, [who] are two of the best rock bands that there are right now. In the past, it's been an eclectic tour. I hope they add some eclectic artists as well like some hip-hop and stuff like that."
