NASHVILLE, TN. (Lyric Street Records) - Lyric Street recording artist and active duty U.S. Marine Josh Gracin will sing the "National Anthem" in full Marine dress uniform at the Pepsi 400 at Daytona on Saturday, July 3rd. The NASCAR race is watched by over 10 million viewers - with another 200,000 in the stands - in addition to 2.5 million radio listeners.
Josh's performance of the Anthem will be televised Saturday evening on the Fox Network at approximately 7:30 PM Eastern. You can also catch Josh performing his single "I Want To Live" on Fox News Channel's "Fox and Friends" on Sunday, July 4th.

Released on June 15, 2004, Josh Gracin's self-titled debut album is the highest selling country male debut album to hit the charts in the last twelve years. Corresponding with the continuing success of his debut single, "I Want to Live"— which has been one of the fastest growing songs at Country Radio and is currently charting in the Top 15— Josh Gracin sold 57,048 units its first week in the marketplace.

One of the highlights of "American Idol 2" was the success of Josh Gracin, a young U.S. Marine and aspiring country singer whose performances won him hearts and votes across the country.
Josh will complete his military duty with an Honorable Discharge at the rank of Lance Corporal this September. He will then move to Nashville - joining his wife and daughter who are already getting settled in the area—to pursue his music career full-time.
Lyric Street Records is a part of the Buena Vista Music Group. The Buena Vista Music Group is the recorded music and music publishing arm of The Walt Disney Company.
