NEW YORK (AP) - Former Alice In Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell has been added to the lineup for Sammy Hagar's birthday bash--dubbed the Cabo Wabo Mexican Meltdown--at Hagar's Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Cantrell will accompany Hagar on stage during the Red Rocker's set on October 13, with the entire bash set for October 12-14. Godsmack and Nickelback are also set to perform. The party is open to the public. A nationwide contest is currently underway--via radio stations as well as bars and liquor stores that stock Hagar's Cabo Wabo Tequila--and fans can call to win free airfare and lodging so they can partake in Hagar's bash. Meanwhile, Cantrell's old band Alice In Chains released its Greatest Hits on August 28. It features the tracks "Rooster," "Man In The Box," and "Would?," among others.
