NEW YORK (Rap Talk Forums) - A poster for American group Outkast has been banned by the British Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).
The poster showed singer Andre 3000 holding a pink, smoking pistol.
There were complaints to the ASA that that the image was "offensive and irresponsible because it glorified gun use" and "promoted racial stereotypes".

The ASA upheld the complaint "because the gun was smoking", implying that it had recently been fired.
Record label BMG, who were responsible for the poster, said that the artist featured was one of the "least likely to glorify violence" and that the image was "ironic".
