Major Players, iTunes And Amazon, Is Struck With "Sophisticated Ignorance"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Corde de Velours) Hip-hop duo Da Youngfellaz are ending the month with a bang, as they announce the release of their highly anticipated three-track EP, "Sophisticated Ignorance." Available for download via iTunes and Amazon on July 31st, Da Youngfellaz prove with this EP, that though their name creates thoughts of immaturity, their talents and experiences are far past their appellation tag. The title "Sophisticated Ignorance," is portrayed in each of the three singles with storylines that demonstrate growth, adulthood and beats that boasts melodic tones for the grown and sexy.

Having phased fans with their material since 2009, Da Youngfellaz are creating quite a name for themselves, thus further heightening their hunger for career excellence. "I feel this EP has music that can impact the entire world," says Jay Strom. "We've focused on a certain class of Hip-Hop listeners on our previous effort. This one is different, it's well-rounded, and we try to cover all bases." This go around, the team sat down with their in-house production team including producers Bravestarr and Trixx of the Kush Administration, Grand Staff Fresh 2 Def, KQuick, and HitMaker DoT to make production magic.

The first track, Billions, drives listeners into a slow-tempo beat through a piano trance, against the quick-spit of encouragement to keep grinding and pressing forward. Ending with words from the great Bob Marley, the track classically foreshadows the next, Incognito, which features KQuick on the hook. With a relatable storyline of young love, this single stresses the desired necessity of solitude, falling in-line with the overall theme of the title "Sophisticated Ignorance." The last of this trio-tracked EP, Chop 'Em, has a haunting hook and aligns the maturity of being an artist with the desire to be the best of the best.

The inspiration for this EP was credited to Self Made Soldiers, who has supported the duo along the way. "They inspire us to make top quality music each and every time we release new material," says Sho-Biz. With the EP release underway, Da YoungFellaz are already organizing the production of video for the single, Incognito, and only have plans of further career amplification.
