A Double A For LostAlone In November 2012
LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ Mercenary Publicity) Following the huge success of their last single - over 95,000 YouTube views and counting, daytime Radio 1 support as well as playlists on Kerrang!, Total Rock and XFM - LostAlone will be releasing a new double A-side single on November 5th 2012 via Graphite Records.

Taken from their critically acclaimed album "I'm A UFO In This City", "Vesuvius" and "Creatures" are live favourites, and will each have their own accompanying video.

The first video, for "Vesuvius" was launched through Kerrang.com and is now on general release, you can watch it here:

Singer Steven Battelle described it as "the most violent song on the album with the warning that 'somewhere all your dreams are coming true, with or without you'. It's the first and only time I've used an historical event to metaphorically convey an emotion and it felt powerful like I was channeling the anger of MT Vesuvius"

Both tracks were produced by Greg Wells (Mika, Deftones, Katy Perry), mixed by Mark Needham (Killers, Fleetwood Mac, MCR) and exec produced by My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way. The video for "Creatures" will be unleashed in mid Oct - about which Battelle says "It's my celebration of the lonely and it wrote itself in around ten minutes. The juxtaposition in the verses of so many voices singing 'this is what it's like when you're lost and alone' perfectly represents my feeling that the voices in ones head can be all the company you need"

The band will tour with Tonight Alive in Europe and UK this month, and then introduce themselves to new audiences from bigger stages when they support Evanescence and The Used in November. They will be playing their yearly Christmas Extravaganza Show in Derby on December 21st along with a host of special guests as well as appearing as DJs at the Xmas Klub Kerrang on Dec 15th at London's Garage.

"… it can only be a matter of time before this unabashed explosion of deadly hooks, dirty riffs and lighter aloft ballads regularly sell out stadiums." 8/10 NME

"Muse seem an obvious comparison if only due to a shared love of the surprising, there's something of classic Queen in the mix but filtered in an altogether more vital and contemporary manner….one you'll want to follow this year" KKKK Kerrang!

"Breathtaking Queen style harmonies and classic metal bite." Classic Rock

"Big, bombastic and littered with choruses the size of Jupiter." Rock Sound

"….a musical game plan that embraces prog and bubblegum…keep watching the skies." Daily Mirror
