Tricky Dilemma comes to South Orange, New Jersey to play 2 sets - 8pm and 10pm at The Dancing Goat,
Thursday night, August 12th. This will be the bands first performance in the Garden State, and serve as an introduction to
Tricky Dilemma's new sound of improvised Afro-Sufi-Greek-Acoustic/Electronica-SunRa-ish culture music.
The group features guitarist-Marvin Sewell, DJ/Afro-electronica experimentalist-Val-Inc and multi-instrumentalist/West
Orange resident-Bruce Mack.

Tricky Dilemma is a collective musical abstract expressionists. The music created by the group is inspired by Nus Rat Fetah Ali Khan, Sun Ra, the writings of Jallaluddin Rumi and many of the great improvisationists, Blues and groove masters of the past 40 years. The music is totally improvised with instrumentation consisting of percussion, Greek Bouzouki Guitar, turntable, sampler and voice.
Since January 2004, Tricky Dilemma has been performing in the tri-state area in support of its debut CD 'The Howling Necessity' on TruGROID Records and has opened several dates for Burnt Sugar the Arkestra Chamber.
