DALLAS, TX (HIT Entertainment) - Preschool superstars The Wiggles - the Australian group that has taken America by storm since their breakthrough debut in 1999 - are celebrating their first U.S. Gold Album for their children's CD titled "Yummy Yummy." The Wiggles have achieved 12 Gold albums, 7 Platinum albums, and 3 Double Platinum in Australia. On hand to congratulate the musical foursome are Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famer John Fogerty and his young daughter, Kelsy, a big Wiggles fan. John Fogerty performs in The Wiggles' upcoming holiday '04 release, "Santa's Rockin'!," available on September 28 on both video (DVD and VHS) and audio (CD and audiocassette). The "Yummy Yummy" CD was originally released by HIT Entertainment in 1999 and subsequently distributed by HIT's audio licensee, KOCH Entertainment LLC. It contains 24 upbeat tunes for little wigglers and their families, including such signature favorites as "Monkey Dance," "Hot Potato" and "Fruit Salad" (yummy yummy!). The Wiggles In Concert!, their live tour, hits the road with a series of concert dates throughout the Eastern and Midwestern U.S. during the month of August. Over 200,000 fans have already reserved their seats for this tour. The first show kicks off in New Orleans on August 2. (Please visit www.thewiggles.com for a complete list of cities and dates.)
