The New Era Of LA Rap
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ ITC) Coming off the success of his first v-mix with Usher's "Scream," which gained over 330,000 views in just two weeks; Jay Blaze has dropped another single from his mixtape "We Invented the V-Mix." The v-mix "Snapbacks and Tattoos" is due out November 5th, 2012. A v-mix is a remix of a video, and is sure to keep Jay Blaze on the rise as LA's hottest rapper.

"Snapbacks and Tattoos," the instant hit from rapper Driicky Graham has already had its fair share of remixes. So much in fact that Driicky made comments on his Twitter this summer, warning his fans to look out for imitations. But what Jay Blaze does is not an imitation; instead he reinvents the song with a new vibe and a new visual.

While Driicky's song plays up to the current style of rappers; cars, money, snapbacks and tattoos, Jay Blaze styles a contradicting image. Challenging Driicky, Jay Blaze raps, "No snapbacks, no tattoos…I'm the new era, dark shades and LA fitted." And Jay Blaze backs his words sporting an LA Dodger fitted hat and tattoo free skin, a trademark that is an exclusive club in the world of hip hop, including artists like Jay-Z and T.I. When asked about the v-mix Jay Blaze explains, "My style is edgy, from the corner to the corner office, my style is respected across the board. This v-mix is mostly me performing with hot chics and a crazy Porsche Turbo. Not 2 Chainz but 2 chics."

One thing both rappers do have in common though is upcoming albums due out in 2013. So be on the lookout for Jay Blaze and be sure to check out his iTunes and latest v-mix on YouTube.
