NEW YORK (www.ourdamnwebsite.com) - Independent rock duo, The Dammitheads, and A&R vetran, Pete Ganbarg, of Pure Tone Music have recently inked a Co-Publishing deal for three songs from The Dammitheads self-released/self-recoreded album, 'Freeze Motherstickers'.
The three songs are: Alright, Stop Engo and Gimme Blood.

The Dammitheads were invited to perform at a private showcase for Pete Ganbarg in March 2004 (the same day their debut album was released). Mr. Ganbarg contacted the band's management shortly afterward to propose a Co-Publishing deal for the song, Alright. Shortly thereafter, the band was contacted again by Mr. Ganbarg to propose a deal for Stop Engo and Gimme Blood.

The Dammitheads have garnered quite a bit of postive attention from the press since the announcement of the release of their debut album, Freeze Motherstickers. The duo was chosen to showcase at two national music conferences this year; MECA, which took place in Chicago, IL and MMC8, which took place in Harrisburg, PA. The band also licensed the song, Stop Engo to the Oxygen Network for their new TV series entitled, Good Girls Don't. Thus far the song has been used in 2 episodes of said show and has also been charting on internet radio stations in both France and The Netherlands.

"Eleven taut rockers, full of stripped-down hooks and raucous melodies that recall a garagey Blur." - Splendidezine Justin Kownacki.
"...a little garage, a little barroom, a little 70s-inspired Rolling Stones-esque inspiration...guitar-driven, attitude-infused rock the way it's meant to be done..." - Delusions of Adequacy Jeff.
"...startling, fresh and edgy with superb song craftsmanship." - Smother.net "Between the wiry beats and his smoke 'em up raspy voice, you can tell he's not really trying to impress or appeal to anyone in particular, but he manages to do so quite well." - Bettawreckonize Brandy Voiles.
