LOS ANGELES (Casey Sayre & Williams) - Jada Pinkett-Smith and her soul/rock-fusion band Wicked Wisdom headline next week's free summer concert at The Grove. Wicked Wisdom, a seven-member rock band with Pinkett-Smith as lead vocalist, will perform songs from their latest album release "My Story." Opening for Wicked Wisdom are two exciting acts, UK singer Julia Fordham, who makes her American debut with new CD "That's Life," and jazz sax favorite Jimmy Sommers. A great place for families to spend L.A.'s warm summer evenings, The Grove brings back the free concert series for its second year in a row. An elaborate concert stage will be set over the dancing water fountain, transforming The Grove into a spectacular open-air performance venue. On August 18, the third concert of the series will feature rock legend John Waite announcing his upcoming new album "The Hard Way" after well-known hits "Missing You" and "When I See You Smile," along with opening act pop-jazz crooner Matt Dusk from the FOX series "The Casino."
