PENSACOLA. FL. () - ArchRyval's new single 'Rock U' from the upcoming debut album 'Southern Hostility' is headed for the radio in the next few weeks. Rock U will be the first material to be released by ArchRyval in the United States. Now residing in Pensacola, FL, ArchRyval made waves in the late 90's on the Japanese music scene with hit single 'Real to I Die' on Mega Force Records.
The group successfully toured overseas from 1998 to 2000, landing several major project deals with Yamaha, Konami, features with UK Platinum Artist E'lisha Laverne and songwriting work on the Poke'mon movie sound track. ArchRyval is back this time around with their USA debut album entitled 'Southern Hostility', to be released on October 13th.
The composition infuses original Hip Hop party-rock and classic Rhythm & Blues sounds with uncanny witticism that the masses can relate to. Pensacola, the small town east of Mobile, AL and first city into Florida, spawned this high energy urban talent with enormous musical passion.
Julie and Anthony Shoemo reflect their talent as singers, songwriters, lyricists, & producers on all 15 tracks of the new CD. The superb blend of Hip Hop, R&B and Rock gives birth to the sounds of the head-knodding and foot-tapping tracks "Rock U', which features 80's hit R&B group Yarbrough and Peoples' 'Can't Stop The Music', "Hypnotize Me," "We Make Sure," the smooth and sultry 'Finer Thangs', and of course the inspirational "R.I.S.E.".
"When people listen to our music I want them to feel good and have songs they can relate to. There are many elements of songwriting, production, attitude and a combination of different styles used to create these songs, and most of all everything comes from the heart.', says Flave.
The album's second single, "Finer Thangs," a story of going from basically nothing to something, pulls at your heart. Destined to set a trend in the modern Hip Hop world, 'Southern Hostility' will capture your ear, your heart, and quench your thirst for excellent musical material all at the same time.
'Rock U' will be released to radio in mid September followed by an official release a month later with an accompanying enhanced promotional CD which will include interviews, video game demos 'Need for Speed Underground 2' and 'Madden 2005' courtesy of Electronic Arts.
ArchRyval will make 'Rock U' available for a limited promotional download on it's official website www.archryval.com and CNET download.com.
