Exhumed: Necrocracy Now Playing In Full At Metalsucks
Upper Darby, PA. (Top40 Charts/ Relapse Records) Metal Sucks is streaming Necrocracy, the latest full-length of filth from West Coast gore weavers, Exhumed in its entirety here (https://bit.ly/15xiNoI)! A ten-track slaughter fest of maniacal, audio severity, the stream comes in celebration of the record's imminent North American unveiling next Tuesday.

Necrocracy is inarguably Exhumed's most musically dexterous, sonically punishing and psychologically destructive release of their, winding, blood-soaked career. Said Last Rites in an early 8/10 review, "Necrocracy pretty much has it all if you're in the mood for some slightly pre-Heartwork-era Carcass worship. Infectiously catchy riffing that falls somewhere in between dense thrash metal and death metal, a gallop that occasionally segues into all out blasts, and the duel vocal attack that [Matt] Harvey and bassist Bodybag Bob Babcock have perfected…. are all over Necrocracy. Harvey's high pitched, greasy screech combines so well with Babcock's growls that you could almost describe the delivery as a harmony. Toss in some great songwriting and a really keen sense of melody, and Necrocracy is probably about as good as the genre can offer." In a 4.5/5 score, Stereokiller agrees, "Necrocracy is exactly what you would expect from these guys, heavy riffs, insanely fast drum beats, and of course the kick ass dual vocals. Overall, the music on the album is all Exhumed quality. Fast, heavy and hard hitting." Adds Scratch the Surface, "From the blasting beginnings of 'Coins Upon the Eyes' to the rampaging finish of 'The Rotting,' Exhumed have written a record that will undoubtedly satisfy those that still believe actual song-writing in contemporary death metal is a forgotten art… Twenty years on, Exhumed's slaughtercult continues to grow. This time, however, we all fall under necrocratic rule!" But it's perhaps Metal Insider who said it best crowning Exhumed "one of the best death metal bands in the world."
