Dance Artist And Fashion Icon Septimius The Great Releases New Single "I Am Fashion"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Wifi PR Group) Septimius The Great has achievements on his résumé that certainly live up to his name. In 2011, the Baltimore-based performer was put forth as a nominee by the Grammy Association as one of the Top 100 Artists on the Verge of Stardom. He has been a presenter and special guest at the Barbados Music Awards. He headlined at The Michael Kors - Macy's Fashion show in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and also at Le Folies Pigalle in Paris, France. He has supported artists Chrisette Michele, Jeremiah, Lil Kim, Wale, Gov't Mule, Crystal Waters and Patti LaBelle. He has toured and performed worldwide including venues in Japan, France, Spain, Italy and Barbados.

Septimius The Great has a unique sound and creative sense of style coupled with an amazing live show. Even though he has garnered worldwide attention, there's always room for more brand awareness, especially for an artist of his caliber. Septimius The Great seeks to gain additional performance opportunities, digital sales, media coverage and an increase in his fan base by touring and promoting his music and image on a global scale.

With musical influences like Will.i.am, Lady Gaga, Prince, Michael Jackson, Pitbull, Flo Rida and Black Eyed Peas, he is certainly inspired by some of the giants in the music industry. In addition to his musical influences, Septimius also incorporates themes of Roman sexual culture, sexual teasing and dance into his music, videos and live shows. He has been compared to his idols and peers Will.i.am and Pitbull. It is his dream to one day share the stage with these performers. That would not be the end for him, but the beginning. Septimius The Great would also like to walk the red carpet at The AMAs, The BET Awards, The Grammys and the World Music Awards. His short-term goals are no less modest. He is planning a worldwide tour to support the release of "To Be Emperor." This 15 track CD will be released on Manta Ray Records in September of 2013.

It's been a busy year so far as Septimius has seen the global release or re-release of several records and singles including, "Who's the Sexiest," "Exotic Pleasure," "Command U 2 Dance" and "Iam Fashion." Septimius is currently collaborating with artists and producers in France, Italy, Uganda, Nigeria, UK, Austria and Germany.

Septimius The Great's music is currently being sold through multiple digital outlets including, but not limited to, 24-7, Amazon MP3, Deezer, eMusic, Google Play, iTunes, Last.fm, Myspace Music, Nielson, Nokia, Play.com, Playlist, Puretracks, Rdio, Rhapsody, Simfy, Slacker, Spotify, Virgin Mega, Virgin Mobile and Zune
